Vitebsk State Medical University started its history in 1934 as a hospital-medical institute. The school put a lot of effort into developing and expanding its campus. The Faculty of Pharmacy was opened in 1959 along with the present medical faculty. The main building and all of the university’s facilities are located in the city of Vitebsk.
